Morning Highlights

On the 26th November 2016, we got hitched.

On that very day, I woke up at 4am to shower and get ready for my make-up artist to arrive at 5am. My photographer arrived at about 5.30am. Despite having so little sleep the night before, I was feeling so happy the entire day. I can't quite explain, but there was definitely an adrenaline rush keeping me going through the day.

My sparkly ballgown that shimmered.

I had glittery white heels to match.

Amber working her magic on me.

I decided at the very last minute to have my hair in a high bun for the solemnisation and I'm glad I went with it. I bought myself a diamond hair accessory to be pinned on.

The bridesmaids dolling each other up. They had ample time as I didn't want any rowdy gate crash.

My family.

My beautiful bridesmaids in shades of grey.

This was the part where Mommy started tearing and I had to go all, "Don't cry! You'll make me cry too. It's a happy day." Who knew I ended up crying more than she did.

Here comes the groom in the Bentley.

Band of brothers looking dashing in their suits.

My subtle gatecrash. A simple angbao collection.

Shannie probably asking for more.

Bridesmaids demanded that the groom sing the duet, but the boy said, "My duet is incomplete without the bride."

Before entering, this boy knocked on my door to ask me to open the door.

Mini tang yuans by Mommy.

Altogether now, with jiejie and Andrew.

The entourage. Extremely thankful for all their help that day.

This looks like a selfie, but it was taken by the photographer.

Photoshoot right outside my condominium. I love my wedding car so much.

Bentley looking real suave.

Arriving at our humble abode.

We were really fortunate to be one of the first few to get the keys and start renovation. Managed to get the house ready for our wedding.

The in-laws.

Forgot to mention how much I love the translucent mash back of my ballgown.

Arriving at InterContinental hotel Singapore, those full length glass windows are gorgeous. I'm still constantly awed by the interior design of this hotel every time I step into it.

A mini photoshoot while waiting for the rooms to be ready.

Favourite shot of the day.

Rose gold matte wedding bands.

Daddy's little girl, for always. This was taken moments before we walked down the stairs for my solemnisation ceremony. My heart was thumping out of my chest.

"Daddy, walk slower okay? I'm scared of falling." He listened well. The stairs, high ceiling and chandelier definitely made the atmosphere much more classy. Another reason why we chose this hotel.

Just making sure I don't trip and fall over my ballgown.

Daddy said, "Must take care of her uhs."

Mommy looking glam in her blue gown.

"With this ring, I marry you."

First teary session, as I was saying my vows to this man.

"You may now kiss the bride."

So much love for this bunch.

No prizes for guessing who caught the bouquet. I swear I didn't aim.

Changed into my a-line cheongsam for the tea ceremony. My cousins helping me with my gold accessories given by my in-laws to match my cheongsam.

My sissy and Andrew were the videographers of the day. Extra grateful for their help and gift.

These three little ones really cracked us up. Too adorable.

We can't be more thankful for all those who showed up for the solemnisation and tea ceremony because we set it at 9am, which was extremely early. We had our reasons and despite that, they understood and showed up. It really meant a lot to us. :')

Stay tuned for my lunch reception, featuring my favourite ballgown, the one I set my eyes on when I was browsing through a bridal magazine.
