Penang

During the June holidays, I went for a short getaway with his family to Penang.

George Town, famous for its street art. At almost every corner or turn, you'll see some.

Ice balls soaked in sarsi and f&n grapes.

How we traveled around for the first hour. The sun was merciless though, the initial excitement faded away very soon.

The beautiful sunset amidst these houses. As the saying goes, old is gold.

Always fascinated with these buildings.

We booked a private car the next day to travel around to touristy spots. First stop was freshly picked durians on the hills! We had mao shan wang first, then we waited an hour plus for a not-so-fantastic durian. Learnt our lesson that mao shan wang will always be the best.

At the peak of a Kek Lok Si temple with this view.

Yeah, I thought I spotted a cable car, which turned out to be an inclined lift.

Curry mee for breakfast.

Taking the tram up to Penang Hill.

One of my favourite stops: Chew Jetty
