Vienna; Wien

The folks have always wanted both my sissy and I to be musically-inclined since young so both of us started piano classes when we were really little. I have not regretted it one bit even though I hardly play the piano anymore. Vienna is a city with a rich culture in music and art. It is the birthplace of Mozart and many other talented musicians and artists.

In fact, I have never imagined it to be so modern. Let the pictures do the talking.

Throughout our trip, we tried a huge variety of desserts.

Stepped into this famous ice cream shop and ordered more desserts. #thisishowwegetfat

Apple crumble wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

It was a rainy day, so my leather jacket wasn't of much help, especially when the wind blew. But bring me back there right now, I would gladly do so. Singapore's humidity/heat is killing me.

While hiding under a pavilion from the rain.

The gardens in Vienna were breathtaking.

Flowers were in full bloom despite the cold weather.

This elephant is so adorable.

Reminds me of Medusa.

Most of their houses have intricate gold designs which make the houses look so grand.

I spotted this hedgehog/porcupine crossing the road but only managed to catch a picture of him running into the bushes. Such a cute butt.

Nordsee sells delicious prawn mayo. We love it.

Giant hotdog. Twice the size of my hand.

Our cosy hotel room.

Sun was shining brightly the next day, so we decided to head to Schönbrunn Palace. Perfect day for great pictures.

The Zoo was right beside, but we didn't have the time to check it out.

Overlooking Vienna.

The boy started to hum the Twilight song while I was running down haha.

Austrian Artist, Hundertwasser designed these uniquely colourful houses.

The interior.

Headed to this restaurant after checking out Tripadvisor as the ratings were pretty high.

Soup was really good.

The fish fillets were pretty mediocre.

Highlight of the meal was the pork ribs. They were cooked to perfection. Totally recommend people to try this out if you're there.

Vienna has been lovely. My parents used to tell me how beautiful it was as they have been there before and honestly, I love it too.
