Dublin, Republic of Ireland

Leaving off from my previous post, we took a propeller plane, Aer Lingus, from Edinburgh to Dublin. Turned out that our luggage was placed on another flight as our plane was already overweight. As it was a propeller plane and we were seated next to the wing, it was a really unpleasant flight with all that noise. To be honest, we were really skeptical about the whole flight. Thankfully, we arrived safely but we were told that our luggage will be sent to our hotel within 24 hours.

To our dismay, the luggage arrived even later than that. What's worse is that we only had one luggage which contained all of our stuffs, we didn't even have our toothbrush and toothpaste with us. Yes, it was that pathetic.

When the luggage finally arrived, we opened the luggage and found out that our wine bottle from Greece broke into pieces. My leather jacket, which was wrapped around it, was stained and soaked with red wine. The glass pieces were all shattered. You have no idea how angry we were with them, the least they could do was treat our luggage with care when it was already sent over so late.

Alright, putting all the bad things aside, we explored Dublin by foot.

I really think that SG should have more of these street art.

Famous tarts in Dublin that we found on Tripadvisor.

There really wasn't anything much to buy except Irish liquor.

My initial thoughts on Dublin was that it would probably be more lively and bustling with people, but to my surprise, nope. I was secretly hoping for more shopping since it was afterall the City of Ireland.

Had authentic Irish cuisine at a famous restaurant, checked. Visited breweries, checked. Had fun with my favourite boy, checked.

We booked another day tour to The Giant's Causeway (which turned out to be more entertaining as compared to the Loch Ness tour), where he finally met his parents after nine whole months.

Stay tuned for the reunion.
