True that, these girls have been my playmates, my bestfriends, my confidantes. Since both our families had two girls each, naturally we got very close. We had many stayovers and when we are together we come up with a whole lot of quirky ideas. Loved the time when we headed to Fantasy Island/Wild Wild Wet together, or just spending time together at the playground or riding bicycles and having our own little adventures. Time spent with them was truly magical, somehow wish that we didn't have to grow up. #summergirlsforever 

Summer Girls

Cousins are childhood playmates who grow up to be forever friends. You can never unfriend a cousin no matter what, they are family. Qi and Shannie have been the closest to my sister and I ever since we were little. I won't ever forget those memories we had. Usually it would be me and Shannie against the older two. We played with everything. And by everything I literally mean everything, from pencils to dogs, to barbie dolls, etc. You name it, we've played it. We even had our own "girl band" called Summer Girls, where we would have our own singing and dance performances. Totally cool back then, I wonder what happened haha.

Well, we grew apart over the years. Sissy shifted to Aussie land. Schedules got tighter, meet ups got tougher as everyone was getting busier. Now both Qi and Sissy are Doctors. Shannie is pursuing what she loves, drama and dance in Lasalle. & well, I'm hoping to realise my dreams too. Met Shannie and Qi a couple of days ago for a quick catch up over dins at Lowercase. I've missed our nonsense. Sissy will be reuniting with us in Jan. Can't wait.
