Black Hotpot/Qi Wei Ji Bao 奇味雞煲

I've been wanting to try this new type of hotpot ever since I saw it months ago as I love sauce-y stuffs if you get what I mean. I absolutely love steamboats/hotpot too, especially spicy ones. Finally tried it today and I personally quite like it. The waitress told us that it would be spicy, but there wasn't even a tinge of spiciness at all. The sauce/soup goes really well with the maggiemee that we ordered. Actually maggiemee tastes good with anything. I am a huge maggiemee fan (even when I know how unhealthy it is). Digressing a bit here, maggiemee even tastes good in BKK's Platinum food court's kway chap haha.

Okay, back to the topic, we ordered their famous chicken claypot and we get to pick our own other side dishes like veggie, quail eggs and stuff. The side dishes were quite pricey tho! The chicken claypot alone costs $24. The side dishes like the quail eggs costs $3.50 each. It was yummy tho. I would go back again!
